November 11th became a national holiday in 1938; Veterans Day originated as Armistice Day, which recognized the one year anniversary of the end of World War I. In 1926, Congress declared the day would have annual observance.
Unlike Memorial Day, which honors military members who are deceased, Veterans Day honors service members, living or dead, whom have given their time and sacrificed for our country, home and abroad. Veterans Day especially recognizes the living veterans that have served during war and peace (retrieved from www.history.com).
We at T.P. Trailers, would like to thank all the men and women whom have given their lives to serving our country. We appreciate your service and sacrifice, and we especially thank you for giving us the freedom to live in this great country.
We pride ourselves on our family-like nature, so we have gathered photos of those in our families that have served us, now and in the past. Thank you, Veterans, for all you have given us and all you have fought to protect.
