There have been several changes at Limerick, PA’s Perkins/T.P. Trailers Inc., which reflected both the growth of the company and its forty year history. Sadly, the family experienced the loss of business founder Thomas Perkins Jr. in May. But they are continuing his legacy, of providing the personal service and customer appreciation he exemplified.

In 2003, the business website was established and met with record- breaking hits within the first few months. During the second year of the company’s relocation, it added personnel in sales, parts and service to meet the needs of its growing customer base which has reached as far as Alaska, Canada and Chile, South America.

Trailers, Inc. held its first open house, sending out nearly 500 mailers to notify customers and business associates. Although the weather did not provide the best back-drop for browsing the inventory filled yard, visitors seemed to enjoy the day and the door prizes. Racecar enthusiasts will find that the family–owned Perkins/T.P. Trailers strives to meet the needs of the individual driver. Along with Haulmark and Car*Mate open and enclosed style car haulers featured, visitors will find the large parts department, quality service and annual maintenance reminders provide drivers the convenience and peace of mind they require. Also available are hitches, hydraulic lift gates, toolboxes, axles, brakes, ladder racks and numerous mounting selections for towing and carrying in the ample showroom.
The 11,000 square foot, two-bay service garage provides space for federal and state DOT inspections and maintenance just right for sustaining the vehicles that travel the road 24 hours a day. |
